The MikroTik CCR1009-7G is an updated version of the popular CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+PC, offering significant performance and design improvements. Notably, the unit features a passive cooling enclosure with two heat pipes and a specially designed heat sink, making it completely silent during operation.

Moreover, the device is powered by an external 24V 2.5A AC/DC adapter and supports power redundancy when paired with a PoE input. Independent Ethernet Ports: The CCR1009-7G features fully independent Ethernet ports, each directly connected to the CPU. As a result, it overcomes the previous shared 1Gbit limitation of switch-chip ports, enabling full utilization of CPU processing power.
Combo Port Flexibility: A single 1Gbit software interface combines an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet port. This allows users to switch between connection types via software or leverage the hardware fail-over feature for uninterrupted connectivity.
100Mbps SFP Support: This model is the first MikroTik device to support 100BASE-LX, 100BASE-SX, and 100BASE-BX fiber modules, in addition to standard 1.25G SFP modules.
Increased Throughput: Thanks to direct CPU connections, the CCR1009-7G achieves higher theoretical throughput, ensuring faster and more efficient data handling.
